Very Good, 1st edition, missing d/j, uniform with Shaw's Collected works series. Green clothbound boards (a little bumped), gilt spine titling clear; text block generally firm, untrimmed pages unmarked but endpapers tanned. Very slight forward lean. Provenance: Sir Henry Lancelot Aubrey-Fletcher, 6th Bt. (1887-1969) - soldier, detective novelist and Lord Lieut. of Buckinghamshire (no indication in copy but grouped with various editions that do)
