Full calf-bound boards, with some inkstaining; gilt-edging and ribbed spine intact; titling block on spine still visible, guttering with some wear inside and out; pages crisp and tight, unmarked apart from occasional pencil markings and the odd tear. Owner's inscription on ffep from 1788.
