Priscilla Napier (1908-1998) was an English author, specializing in biography. Her brother was British Ambassador to the USSR and then Warden of New College Oxford, while her sister Alethea was a literary biographer. Her husband of 10 years, was killed on active service in 1940, after which she brought up their three children and became a writer and published poet.
