Dylan Thomas was one of the most beloved Welsh/British poets of the twentieth century, exploiting the musicality and rhythms of the English language in a unique and pioneering way. His fame only grew through his iconic appearances on BBC Radio, giving readings and opinion pieces.

His most famous work, and widely acknowledged masterpiece, was Under Milk Wood, a radio play which he dubbed a ‘play for voices’. For many, it will be forever identified with the voice of Richard Burton, who had the part of Narrator on multiple occasions.
