Roundabout Papers, from “The Cornhill Magazine”

Thackeray, William Makepeace

£45.00

Three years before he died, Thackeray took on the editorship of The Cornhill Magazine in 1860, despite far prefering the job of writing pieces for his ‘Roundabout Papers’ column. These were published in this anthology soon after his death in 1863. This is the 1st edition, with occasional illustrations by Thackeray himself.
