Owen Francis Dudley (1882-1952) was a Catholic priest who wrote detective fiction (amongst other things) that has often been compared to Chesterton’s Father Brown stories. An attempt to stimulate the indifferent to a sense of God, before final and irrevocable disaster overtakes the world
