Doctor Nicholas Ridley was an English Bishop of London and one of the martyrs burned at the stake during the Marian Persecutions due to his teachings and support of Lady Jane Grey. Ridley is remembered in commemoration within the calendar of saints, along with Hugh Latimer, in some parts of the Anglican Communion.
